Estera Bader was the daughter of the merchant Szlama Bader, who lived in Warsaw at the address Sienna 72.

Following her attendance at a Warsaw high school, she was enrolled at the University for World Trade for the diploma program in the winter semester of 1937/38. During this time, she lived at Berggasse 15/8 (9th District of Vienna), diagonally across from the Palais Festetics, which housed the k.k. Exportakademie, the predecessor of the University for World Trade, between 1898 and 1916.

As a Jew, Estera Bader had to abandon her studies following the 'Anschluss' of Austria in March 1938. Just two days after the German military entered Austria, she evacuated her apartment in Berggasse and returned to Poland.

Her further fate is unknown.
