Gabriel Nagy was the son of Dr. Wilhelm Nagy. Following two semesters of study at the University of Rome, he was enrolled at the University for World Trade in the winter semester of 1937/38 and the summer semester of 1938. The last examination at the university was the First (general) examination (February 1938). After the 'Anschluss' of Austria, the Jewish student was unable to participate in the study program or exams.

He left his apartment at Naaffgasse 13/1/6 (18th district of Vienna) just one week after the Wehrmacht's invasion of Austria to return to Budapest. His further fate is unknown.
