Adela Romanowska was the daughter of Herzel Romanowski (commercial manager). She was only enrolled at the University for World Trade during the winter semester 1937/38 and summer semester 1938. She was one of the few Jewish students allowed to take exams after the 'Anschluss' of Austria (mid-June 1938). On June 27, 1938, she was deregistered from the University; she received a departure certificate. As of July 1, 1938, she deregistered her apartment at Heiligenstädterstraße 5/5 (19th district of Vienna), where she had formed a shared apartment with Aniela Lerner, and returned to Łódź. Her further fate is unknown.
