Ladislaus was the son of Alexander Weiß (retired notary). He was enrolled at the University for World Trade for four semesters between the winter semester of 1936/37 and the summer semester of 1938 and took the first (general) exam in February 1938. However, as a Jew, he could not continue his studies after the 'Anschluss' of Austria. Not even a week after the Wehrmacht's invasion, he gave up his apartment at Latschkagasse 7/1/9 (9th Vienna district) and returned to Romania. There is no information about his further fate.
