Paul Weisz was the son of Alexander Weisz (merchant). He was only enrolled for one semester (winter semester 1937/38) at the University for World Trade. As a Jewish student, he was not allowed to continue his studies after the 'Anschluss' of Austria. Good one and a half weeks after the Wehrmacht's invasion of Austria, he left his apartment at Gentzgasse 9/11 (18th district of Vienna) and returned to Budapest. Here, his trail goes cold.
