Eisenberg was enrolled at the University for World Trade between the winter semester 1936/36 and the summer semester 1938, but was deregistered as a Jew on June 20, 1938, in the ongoing summer semester. Although the deregistration was canceled the following day, he could no longer participate in the study or examination activities; he received a departure certificate. He was registered at Fluchtgasse 9 (9th district of Vienna) until March 25, 1938. It cannot be determined exactly when he fled to Poland.
